Planning Application Week 23

This week there have been six commercial and two domestic applications for planning permission in Dublin Central. Some applications to note are as follows:

  • Railtours Ireland have applied for planning permission for a new building that will provide eleven hotel bedrooms on Amiens Street.
  • Melonmount Ltd have applied for a new eight storey, 249-bedroom hotel development with a café/restaurant in River House, Chancery Street.
  • The Irish Infinity Fund have applied to change the use of Retail Unit A, George’s Court, North King Street, from retail to a hot food takeaway.
  • Gas Networks Ireland have applied for permission to install a 3m high ‘lamp post’ style relief vent stack on lands adjacent to Castleforbes Road, Dublin 1.

All plans can be inspected online here or in person by appointment to the Planning Department, Dublin City Council, Civic Offices, Wood Quay, Dublin 8 where a staff member will be available for assistance and explanation.
