In response to Mary’s request for an update on the installation of a signalised pedestrian crossing on the River Road, Dublin City Council has advised that the planned installation has been delayed pending the resolution of a dispute between DCC Planners and the developers.
The dispute centres around the developers obligation to provide a signalised pedestrian crossing at the location.
For more on this you can read Mary’s correspondence with DCC HERE.
Hopefully the dispute will be resolved soon. In the meantime pedestrians are advised to take extra care when crossing the River Road.
