Simon Botanic Road

Dublin Simon Community has purchased 86-88 Botanic Road and confirmed that it intends to relocate its Ushers Island facility to these homes.

The purchase follows the announcement of its intention to build a 100 bed medical treatment and recovery facility at Ushers Island for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. You can read Dublin Simon’s full statement HERE.

DCC Planning Enforcement have served notice on the Simon Community in relation to unauthorised planning development at the same location.

Mary has asked management of the Simon Community to meet with local residents and representatives to address their concerns regarding the introduction of a residential drug recovery unit in a residential community.
