St Finbar’s Court

Dublin City Council advised Mary that demolition contractors will be on site at St Finbars Court, Kilkernan Road from Monday 26th of August.

Demolition is expected to take eight to ten weeks.

Dublin City Council intends seeking a Part 8 Planning Approval to develop high quality, one bedroom senior citizen accommodation on the site.

At the July Meeting of the Central Area Committee Mary welcomed the outline proposal, asked for more detail on building design specifications, an analyses of why it has taken ten years to progress this project, a briefing for local residents on the proposal prior to planning application being submitted and priority for local applicants on the Financial Contribution waiting list.
