Following a canvass of the area, Mary made representations to Dublin City Council in respect dangerous speeding on Oxmantown Road.
Dublin City Council have responded to Mary and confirmed they will undertake traffic calming works to address the issue. You can read the correspondence HERE.
Specifically they have committed to encourage less speeding by narrowing the road carriageway, by introducing buildouts with planting and to incorporate cycle stands into the buildout design.
The works will commence in the coming weeks. Mary hopes the works will make the road safer for residents of the area.
