Sports Capital and Equipment

The Sports Capital and Equipment Programme is now open for applications. Applicants for local projects can now apply for grants up to €200,000. Projects of regional significance are eligible for grants up to €500,000. The Programme will prioritise applications from disadvantaged areas, those that target people with disabilities and projects that share facilities with other organisations and sports.

Grants are available to voluntary, not-for-profit sports clubs, community groups, and local authorities. Third level colleges, Education and Training Boards(ETBs) and schools may only apply for funding jointly with sports clubs or organisations.

Applications can only be made online using the OSCAR website and all clubs must register before they submit their application. Applicants must register before 5PM, August 25th and applications must be submitted by 8th September. More information on the programme can be found HERE.
